The Maryland Department of Transportation State Highway Administration will temporarily close several lanes and ramps at the southbound I-95/I-695 interchange in southwest Baltimore County on Wednesday, October 2. All lanes and ramps are scheduled to reopen by 5 a.m. on Thursday, depending on the weather.

This traffic change is part of the State Highway Administration’s bridge rehabilitation project at the I-95/I-695 interchange, involving work on 10 bridges.

Drivers should be aware of the following closures on southbound I-95 starting Wednesday evening:

  • One lane will close at 7 p.m.
  • Two lanes will close at 9 p.m.
  • Three lanes will close at midnight
  • Ramps from both the inner and outer loops of I-695 to southbound I-95
