Traffic cameras in Florida recorded a truck driver’s reaction to a hazardous lane merge by another motorist.
The incident occurred on July 17 on northbound I-75 at mile marker 361 in Marion County, Florida.
The footage shows a light-colored car driving in the center lane of the interstate. The driver seems to notice a previous crash site and abruptly swerves into the outer lane, colliding with a semi-truck. The impact forces the semi-truck off the road onto the shoulder, causing it to jackknife. However, the truck driver manages to straighten the vehicle and bring it to a safe stop on the shoulder.
