A storm chaser’s attempt to track a tornado was interrupted when a large truck tipped over directly ahead of his vehicle. This incident occurred on Friday, April 26, in David City, Nebraska, and was recorded by storm chaser Ben Ahrens. The video depicts a semi-truck approaching from the opposite direction unexpectedly overturning into Ahrens’ lane, causing him to veer off the road.

“A semi ended my chase early today. I’m okay. What really matters is the devastating damage these storms have done and are continuing to do,” Ahrens said.

The status of the truck driver remains uncertain.
