Starting from 9 p.m. on Friday, April 5, until 5 a.m. on Monday, April 8, the section of westbound I-94 between I-75 and M-10 will be shut down. This closure is necessary for the installation of beams for the Cass Avenue bridge over I-94.
During this time, all ramps in the vicinity, including those at I-75, Chene Street, and Mt. Elliott Street, will also be closed.
However, eastbound I-94 will remain accessible as usual.
If you need to travel westbound on I-94, you’ll need to follow a detour route. This will take you via southbound I-75 and westbound I-96 before returning to westbound I-94.
