TuSimple Holdings, headquartered in San Diego, is in the process of scaling down its activities in the United States. In its most recent announcement, the company disclosed another series of layoffs, resulting in a reduction of 150 employees, accounting for approximately 75% of its workforce in the U.S. This follows previous layoff rounds in December, which affected 350 workers, and additional cuts in May. The remaining staff will oversee the gradual cessation of the company’s operations.

Details of the latest job cuts were officially documented in a filing submitted to the Securities and Exchange Commission on Monday. TuSimple has communicated that it is redirecting its focus towards markets in Asia.

Established in 2015, TuSimple has been actively involved in the development of its business operations.
