Estes Express Lines recently marked the inauguration of its advanced terminal in Banning, California, signaling the company’s expansion on the West Coast. Based in Richmond, Virginia, Estes Express Lines celebrated the opening of this state-of-the-art facility.
Situated on a sprawling 39-acre plot, the terminal is conveniently positioned around 30 miles east of Riverside, near Interstate 10. Notably, it boasts several sustainable features, further enhancing its appeal. Among these features, the terminal utilizes all-electric forklifts, making it one of the pioneering terminals in the Estes network to adopt this technology. Additionally, the facility is home to eight electric tractors, further emphasizing Estes’ commitment to eco-friendly operations on the West Coast.
The newly opened terminal is equipped with an impressive 133 doors and features a three-bay shop. Estes Express Lines has emphasized its commitment to energy efficiency at this location, incorporating energy-efficient interior and exterior lighting that utilizes 85% less electricity compared to conventional lighting methods.
As a prominent carrier, Estes Express Lines maintains an extensive network of terminals across the United States and Canada. With over 280 terminals in operation, the company has established itself as a leading player in the industry. Additionally, Estes employs a workforce of more than 10,100 drivers and possesses an impressive fleet, consisting of 9,694 tractors and 37,032 trailers.
