Arizona authorities are preparing for a specialized enforcement initiative focusing on commercial vehicle safety along Interstate 10 this month.
Scheduled for March 19th to 20th, a concentrated effort targeting commercial vehicle safety will occur at the I-10 Ehrenberg Port of Entry, positioned near mile marker 3.5 on the eastbound side of I-10, close to the California border.
This event, overseen by the Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT), forms part of their yearly enforcement program named “Operation Full House.”
More than 50 inspectors specialized in commercial vehicle enforcement will participate in this operation.
Throughout Operation Full House, inspectors will concentrate on ensuring compliance with motor carrier regulations, emphasizing aspects such as driver qualifications, adherence to hours of service regulations, and overall safe operation.
Additionally, officers will be vigilant for moving violations, instances of distracted driving, and seat belt infractions while conducting inspections of commercial vehicles.
Operation Full House is a collaborative effort between the Arizona Department of Transportation’s Enforcement and Compliance Division and the Arizona Department of Public Safety State Troopers, constituting the Arizona Commercial Vehicle Safety Partnership.
