A multitude of truck drivers are facing difficulties due to a significant service disruption experienced by AT&T today. According to reports from DownDetector, AT&T customers have been encountering escalating issues, reaching a peak of nearly 75,000 outages early on Thursday. Furthermore, some customers of Verizon and T-Mobile have also reported experiencing problems today. Both companies acknowledged that these issues arose when their customers attempted to communicate with AT&T subscribers.
On AT&T’s service outage webpage, the company acknowledged the situation, stating, “Some of our customers are currently experiencing interruptions in wireless service this morning. We are diligently working to restore service for them and recommend utilizing Wi-Fi calling until normal service resumes.”
Truckers have voiced their concerns in response to a post on the Truckers News Facebook page, sharing their experiences with the outage.
