A national chain of truck stops is showing its appreciation for military members in honor of Veterans Day. On November 11, 2023, TravelCenters of America (TA) is extending a generous offer to active-duty military personnel, veterans, and reservists. These individuals are invited to enjoy a complimentary meal at participating restaurants within the chain.

To claim this free meal, military members will be required to provide evidence of their service before placing an order. Acceptable forms of proof may encompass a Uniformed Services ID card, a current Leave and Earnings Statement (LES), a veterans’ organization membership card, a photograph in uniform, a DD214 form, a citation, or a commendation.

“The enormous impact of these courageous individuals will always be recognized within our organization,” said Debi Boffa, CEO of TA. “Last year, TA was able to help over 200 Special Operations veterans through our nationwide Round Up campaign. We hope to surpass that number this year with the help of our passionate team members and generous guests. Thank you to all who have dedicated their lives to protecting others.”

The prominent truck stop company, Pilot, is also joining in to express its gratitude to military members and their families on Veterans Day Weekend. They are extending a special offer of a complimentary meal to these individuals during this time.
