TravelCenters of America (TA) has officially unveiled the transformation of the former Russell’s Travel Center in Glenrio, New Mexico. On October 11, TA proudly declared that this establishment has been reborn as a TA Travel Center, now conveniently situated at 1583 Frontage Road 4132, just off I-40, Exit 369.

Amenities at the new store include:

  • 175 truck parking spaces
  • Classic car and memorabilia museum
  • Russell’s Route 66 Diner and Subway restaurants
  • 10 diesel fueling positions
  • Eight private showers
  • Laundry facilities
  • Pet area

“The Glenrio travel center is the company’s ninth location to open in New Mexico, growing the total nationwide network of travel centers to 293. TA remains committed to expanding its network of TA, Petro and TA Express locations to serve more professional drivers and motorists,” TA said.

Another Russell’s location in Springer, New Mexico, was also sold to TA earlier this year.
