Tesla is now actively recruiting employees for their electric semi-truck manufacturing line, signaling their readiness to ramp up production of this new vehicle. In recent days, Tesla posted ten job openings related to the production of the Tesla semi-truck and the design of the production facility. It’s worth noting that in January, Tesla revealed plans to expand their Gigafactory Nevada site to facilitate the high-volume production of the Tesla semi-truck, although the expansion work has not yet commenced.

Given that the expansion work has not yet commenced, Electrek predicts that the commencement of large-scale production for the electric tractor-trailer will probably not happen until at least the latter part of 2024.
