Truck drivers in Kittery, Maine, have a special treat coming their way during National Truck Driver Appreciation Week. The Maine Professional Drivers Association (MPDA) is partnering with the Maine State Police to host a Driver Appreciation lunch event at the Southbound Weigh Station along I-95 in Kittery.
On Monday, September 11, between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m., truckers are invited to visit the weigh station and partake in a complimentary meal featuring lobster rolls, chips, fruit, and a beverage. The event extends its warm welcome to all drivers and their families.
MPDA has assured that the Maine State Police will be present to address any inquiries from drivers, emphasizing that no vehicle inspections will be conducted at the site during the event.
National Truck Driver Appreciation Week is scheduled for September 10 to 16 this year.
