A new truck stop is set to open in the Henderson, Nevada, area within a few weeks. It will be an addition to the existing truck stop operated by DeSimone Gaming, a real estate development company, in Henderson. Known as the Eldorado Truck Stop and Travel Center, it is located on Railroad Pass Casino Road to the west of I-11 and is scheduled to open in early August 2023.
The Eldorado Truck Stop and Travel Center will be the second independent truck stop established by DeSimone Gaming in Henderson, alongside the Railroad Pass Travel Center. With an investment of $25 million, this new truck stop will feature a range of amenities. It will provide 100 truck parking spaces, catering specifically to truckers, in addition to parking areas for passenger vehicles and RVs.
Amenities at the Eldorado Truck Stop and Travel Center will include:
- Shower facilities
- Truck wash
- Round-the-clock shuttle service to the Railroad Pass Hotel and Casino
- Sonic Drive-In and Dunkin’ Donuts restaurants
“The center is either the first or last truck stop in southern Nevada for drivers heading north or south,” DeSimone Gaming said in a news release.
